मय उवाच ।
युक्तमेतत्त्वयि विभो यथात्थ पुरुषर्षभ ।
प्रीतिपूर्वमहं किंचित्कर्तुमिच्छामि भारत ॥४॥

prītipūrvamahaṁ kiṁcitkartumicchāmi bhārata.

4. mayaḥ uvāca yuktam etat tvayi vibho yathā āttha
puruṣarṣabha prītipūrvam aham kiṃcit kartum icchāmi bhārata

4. Maya said: "O mighty one (vibho), O best among men (puruṣarṣabha), what you say is indeed proper for you. Nevertheless, O Bhārata (Arjuna), I wish to do something for you out of affection."

4. מַיַה אמר, זה ראוי לך, הו אדון, הו גדול הגברים, כפי שאמרת. מתוך חיבה אני רוצה לעשות עבורך דבר מה, הו בן בְּהַרַטַה.
