महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-1, verse-1

वैशंपायन उवाच ।
ततोऽब्रवीन्मयः पार्थं वासुदेवस्य संनिधौ ।
प्राञ्जलिः श्लक्ष्णया वाचा पूजयित्वा पुनः पुनः ॥१॥
1. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
tato'bravīnmayaḥ pārthaṁ vāsudevasya saṁnidhau ,
prāñjaliḥ ślakṣṇayā vācā pūjayitvā punaḥ punaḥ.

1. Vaiśampāyana said: Then Maya, with folded hands, addressed Arjuna in the presence of Vāsudeva (Krishna), speaking gentle words after having honored him repeatedly.
