महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-15, chapter-5, verse-23

त्वं चापि फलभाक्तात तपसः पार्थिवो ह्यसि ।
फलभाजो हि राजानः कल्याणस्येतरस्य वा ॥२३॥
23. tvaṁ cāpi phalabhāktāta tapasaḥ pārthivo hyasi ,
phalabhājo hi rājānaḥ kalyāṇasyetarasya vā.
23. tvam ca api phalabhāk tāta tapasaḥ pārthivaḥ hi
asi phalabhājaḥ hi rājānaḥ kalyāṇasya itarasya vā
23. tāta tvam ca api tapasaḥ phalabhāk asi hi pārthivaḥ
hi rājānaḥ kalyāṇasya vā itarasya phalabhājaḥ
23. And you, O dear one, also become a partaker of the fruit of this asceticism (tapas), for you are a king. Indeed, kings are always recipients of the results, whether good or evil.
