वैशंपायन उवाच ।
ततो निशायां प्राप्तायां कृतसायाह्निकक्रियाः ।
व्यासमभ्यगमन्सर्वे ये तत्रासन्समागताः ॥१॥

tato niśāyāṁ prāptāyāṁ kṛtasāyāhnikakriyāḥ ,
vyāsamabhyagamansarve ye tatrāsansamāgatāḥ.
