महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-84, verse-18

तस्मादपि स कौरव्य गान्धारविषयं हयः ।
विचचार यथाकामं कौन्तेयानुगतस्तदा ॥१८॥
18. tasmādapi sa kauravya gāndhāraviṣayaṁ hayaḥ ,
vicacāra yathākāmaṁ kaunteyānugatastadā.
18. tasmāt api saḥ kauravya gāndhāraviṣayam hayaḥ
vicacāra yathākāmam kaunteyānugataḥ tadā
18. O descendant of Kuru (kauravya), from there the horse roamed the region of Gandhāra (Gāndhāra) as it pleased, followed by the son of Kunti (Kaunteya) at that time.
