महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-64, verse-1

ब्राह्मणा ऊचुः ।
क्रियतामुपहारोऽद्य त्र्यम्बकस्य महात्मनः ।
कृत्वोपहारं नृपते ततः स्वार्थे यतामहे ॥१॥
1. brāhmaṇā ūcuḥ ,
kriyatāmupahāro'dya tryambakasya mahātmanaḥ ,
kṛtvopahāraṁ nṛpate tataḥ svārthe yatāmahe.
1. brāhmaṇāḥ ūcuḥ kriyatām upahāraḥ adya tryambakasya
mahātmanaḥ kṛtvā upahāram nṛpate tataḥ svārthe yatāmahe
1. The brahmins said: "Let an offering be made today to the great-souled Tryambaka (Śiva). Having made this offering, O king, we shall then strive for our own objectives."
