महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-61, verse-8

सुबहूनि च राजेन्द्र दिवसानि विराटजा ।
नाभुङ्क्त पतिशोकार्ता तदभूत्करुणं महत् ।
कुक्षिस्थ एव तस्यास्तु स गर्भः संप्रलीयत ॥८॥
8. subahūni ca rājendra divasāni virāṭajā ,
nābhuṅkta patiśokārtā tadabhūtkaruṇaṁ mahat ,
kukṣistha eva tasyāstu sa garbhaḥ saṁpralīyata.

8. O king (rājendra), for many days, Uttara, the daughter of Virāṭa, afflicted by sorrow for her husband, did not eat. This was a great pity. Indeed, the embryo (garbha) within her womb dissolved.
