महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-58, verse-13

पुण्यावसथवान्वीर पुण्यकृद्भिर्निषेवितः ।
विहारो वृष्णिवीराणां महे रैवतकस्य ह ।
स नगो वेश्मसंकीर्णो देवलोक इवाबभौ ॥१३॥
13. puṇyāvasathavānvīra puṇyakṛdbhirniṣevitaḥ ,
vihāro vṛṣṇivīrāṇāṁ mahe raivatakasya ha ,
sa nago veśmasaṁkīrṇo devaloka ivābabhau.

13. O hero, it possessed sacred dwellings and was frequented by those who performed meritorious deeds. It was a pleasure ground for the Vṛṣṇi heroes, especially during the great festival (mahas) of Raivataka. That mountain, crowded with houses, truly shone like the world of gods (devaloka).
