महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-11, verse-1

वैशंपायन उवाच ।
इत्युक्ते नृपतौ तस्मिन्व्यासेनाद्भुतकर्मणा ।
वासुदेवो महातेजास्ततो वचनमाददे ॥१॥
1. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
ityukte nṛpatau tasminvyāsenādbhutakarmaṇā ,
vāsudevo mahātejāstato vacanamādade.

adbhutakarmaṇā vāsudevaḥ mahātejāḥ tataḥ vacanam ādade
1. vaiśaṃpāyanaḥ uvāca: iti adbhutakarmaṇā vyāsena tasmin nṛpatou ukte tataḥ mahātejāḥ vāsudevaḥ vacanam ādade.
1. Vaiśampāyana said: When that was thus spoken to the king by Vyāsa, who performed wondrous deeds, then the greatly effulgent Vāsudeva (Kṛṣṇa) began to speak.
