महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-64, verse-19

प्रदानं सर्वदानानां शकटस्य विशिष्यते ।
एवमाह महाभागः शाण्डिल्यो भगवानृषिः ॥१९॥
19. pradānaṁ sarvadānānāṁ śakaṭasya viśiṣyate ,
evamāha mahābhāgaḥ śāṇḍilyo bhagavānṛṣiḥ.
19. pradānaṃ sarvadānānāṃ śakaṭasya viśiṣyate
evaṃ āha mahābhāgaḥ śāṇḍilyaḥ bhagavān ṛṣiḥ
19. The gift of a cart is superior to all other gifts. Thus spoke the venerable sage (ṛṣi) Śāṇḍilya, the illustrious one.
