महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-64, verse-3

पानीयदानं परमं दानानां मनुरब्रवीत् ।
तस्माद्वापीश्च कूपांश्च तडागानि च खानयेत् ॥३॥
3. pānīyadānaṁ paramaṁ dānānāṁ manurabravīt ,
tasmādvāpīśca kūpāṁśca taḍāgāni ca khānayet.
