महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-64, verse-13

प्रयतो ब्राह्मणाग्रेभ्यः श्रद्धया परया युतः ।
उपस्पर्शनषड्भागं लभते पुरुषः सदा ॥१३॥
13. prayato brāhmaṇāgrebhyaḥ śraddhayā parayā yutaḥ ,
upasparśanaṣaḍbhāgaṁ labhate puruṣaḥ sadā.

13. A self-controlled person (puruṣa), endowed with supreme faith (śraddhā), who gives to the foremost Brahmins, always obtains a one-sixth share of the merit from ceremonial purification (upasparśana).
