महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-64, verse-18

निदाघकाले वर्षे वा यश्छत्रं संप्रयच्छति ।
नास्य कश्चिन्मनोदाहः कदाचिदपि जायते ।
कृच्छ्रात्स विषमाच्चैव विप्र मोक्षमवाप्नुते ॥१८॥
18. nidāghakāle varṣe vā yaśchatraṁ saṁprayacchati ,
nāsya kaścinmanodāhaḥ kadācidapi jāyate ,
kṛcchrātsa viṣamāccaiva vipra mokṣamavāpnute.
18. nidāghakāle varṣe vā yaḥ chatraṃ
saṃprayacchati na asya kaścit manodāhaḥ
kadācit api jāyate kṛcchrāt saḥ
viṣamāt ca eva vipra mokṣaṃ avāpnute
18. Whoever provides an umbrella during summer or in the rainy season, for him no mental distress ever arises. O brahmin, he certainly attains liberation (mokṣa) from difficulty and adversity.
