महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-11, verse-7

ये चाल्पतेजोबलसत्त्वसारा हृष्यन्ति कुप्यन्ति च यत्र तत्र ।
न देवि तिष्ठामि तथाविधेषु नरेषु संसुप्तमनोरथेषु ॥७॥
7. ye cālpatejobalasattvasārā; hṛṣyanti kupyanti ca yatra tatra ,
na devi tiṣṭhāmi tathāvidheṣu; nareṣu saṁsuptamanoratheṣu.
7. ye ca alpatejobalasattvasārāḥ hṛṣyanti kupyanti ca yatra
tatra na devi tiṣṭhāmi tathāvidheṣu nareṣu saṃsuptamanoratheṣu
7. O goddess, I do not reside among those men who possess little vigor, strength, or intrinsic nature (sattva), who become delighted or angry without proper cause, and whose aspirations are dormant.
