महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-11, verse-10

स्त्रीषु क्षान्तासु दान्तासु देवद्विजपरासु च ।
वसामि सत्यशीलासु स्वभावनिरतासु च ॥१०॥
10. strīṣu kṣāntāsu dāntāsu devadvijaparāsu ca ,
vasāmi satyaśīlāsu svabhāvaniratāsu ca.

10. I reside among women who are patient, self-controlled, and devoted to gods and brahmins; and among those who are truthful in conduct and dedicated to their own intrinsic disposition (svabhāva).
