I always dwell among Brahmins (dvijas) who are constantly engaged in their Vedic study (svādhyāya); and in the kṣatriya class, always devoted to natural law (dharma); and in the vaiśya class, devoted to agriculture; and in the śūdra class, constantly engaged in service.
