दिशोऽवलोकयामास वेलां चैव दुरात्मवान् ।
दूरे ग्रामनिवेशश्च तस्माद्देशादिति प्रभो ।
कृतबुद्धिर्वने तस्मिन्वस्तुं तां रजनीं तदा ॥२५॥

25. diśo'valokayāmāsa velāṁ caiva durātmavān ,
dūre grāmaniveśaśca tasmāddeśāditi prabho ,
kṛtabuddhirvane tasminvastuṁ tāṁ rajanīṁ tadā.

durātmanvān dūre grāmaniveśaḥ ca tasmāt
deśāt iti prabho kṛtabuddhiḥ

25. tadā durātmanvān diśaḥ velāṃ ca

25. Then, the miserable hunter looked around in all directions and considered the time. 'The village settlement is far from this place,' he thought. Thus, O Lord, he decided to spend that night in that forest.
