महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-210, verse-9

पूर्वमेव तु कृष्णस्य वचनात्तं महीधरम् ।
पुरुषाः समलंचक्रुरुपजह्रुश्च भोजनम् ॥९॥
9. pūrvameva tu kṛṣṇasya vacanāttaṁ mahīdharam ,
puruṣāḥ samalaṁcakrurupajahruśca bhojanam.

9. But even beforehand, on Krishna's instructions, men had decorated that mountain and brought food.
