अथ धर्मेण राज्यं त्वं प्राप्तवान्भरतर्षभ ।
तेऽपि राज्यमनुप्राप्ताः पूर्वमेवेति मे मतिः ॥७॥

O best of the Bharatas, if you have obtained the kingdom through natural law (dharma), then my opinion is that they (the Pāṇḍavas) also obtained the kingdom long ago.
