महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-136, verse-13

दिष्ट्या त्विदानीं पापात्मा दग्धोऽयमतिदुर्मतिः ।
अनागसः सुविश्वस्तान्यो ददाह नरोत्तमान् ॥१३॥
13. diṣṭyā tvidānīṁ pāpātmā dagdho'yamatidurmatiḥ ,
anāgasaḥ suviśvastānyo dadāha narottamān.
13. diṣṭyā tu idānīm pāpa-ātmā dagdhaḥ ayam ati-durmatiḥ
anāgasaḥ su-viśvastān yaḥ dadāha nara-uttamān
13. Fortunately, this evil-souled (pāpātman), extremely wicked-minded person, who burned the innocent and very trusting best of men, is now himself burned.
