महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-120, verse-15

धनुश्च सशरं दृष्ट्वा तथा कृष्णाजिनानि च ।
व्यवस्य ब्राह्मणापत्यं धनुर्वेदान्तगस्य तत् ।
स राज्ञे दर्शयामास मिथुनं सशरं तदा ॥१५॥
15. dhanuśca saśaraṁ dṛṣṭvā tathā kṛṣṇājināni ca ,
vyavasya brāhmaṇāpatyaṁ dhanurvedāntagasya tat ,
sa rājñe darśayāmāsa mithunaṁ saśaraṁ tadā.

15. Having seen a bow with arrows (saśaram) and also black deer skins (kṛṣṇājināni), he concluded that those were indeed the children of a Brahmin (brāhmaṇāpatyam) who had mastered the entire science of archery (dhanurvedāntaga). Then, he showed those twins (mithunam), along with the bow and arrows (saśaram), to the king.
