योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-204, verse-21

एवंस्वभाव एवायं चिद्धातुर्गगनात्मकः ।
यदेवं नाम कचति निष्कारणगुणक्रमम् ॥ २१ ॥
evaṃsvabhāva evāyaṃ ciddhāturgaganātmakaḥ ,
yadevaṃ nāma kacati niṣkāraṇaguṇakramam 21
21. evaṃsvabhāvaḥ eva ayam ciddhātuḥ gaganātmakaḥ
yat evam nāma kacati niṣkāraṇaguṇakramam
21. ayam gaganātmakaḥ evaṃsvabhāvaḥ ciddhātuḥ yat evam nāma niṣkāraṇaguṇakramam kacati.
21. This very element of consciousness (cit), whose intrinsic nature (dharma) is like that of space, thus indeed manifests this sequence of qualities which has no (external) cause.
