योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-124, verse-3

तस्याच्छत्वात्तथाभूतमात्मैवात्मनि बिम्बति ।
तादृशस्य तथाभूतौ मुकुरस्येव निर्मला ॥ ३ ॥
tasyācchatvāttathābhūtamātmaivātmani bimbati ,
tādṛśasya tathābhūtau mukurasyeva nirmalā 3

bimbati tādṛśasya tathābhūtau mukurasya iva nirmalā

3. Due to its inherent purity, the Self (ātman), being in that pristine state, indeed reflects within the Self (ātman) itself, just as a pure (clarity) of such a mirror reflects in that clear state of being.
