योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-124, verse-2

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
एकसंविद्धनाकाशमप्यनानैव सर्वगम् ।
स्वयं नानेव संपन्नं सुप्ते चित्तमिवात्मनि ॥ २ ॥
śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca ,
ekasaṃviddhanākāśamapyanānaiva sarvagam ,
svayaṃ nāneva saṃpannaṃ supte cittamivātmani 2

2. Śrī Vasiṣṭha said: "The all-pervading expanse (ākāśa) of single, concentrated consciousness (saṃvit), though essentially not diverse, manifests itself as if diverse, just like the mind (citta) appears in the sleeping state within the Self (ātman)."
