योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-6, chapter-75, verse-5

अथ सर्वार्थरिक्तं तत्खिन्नप्रकृतिपौरकम् ।
सीमान्तिने तृणमिव राज्यं स्वमरये ददौ ॥ ५ ॥
atha sarvārthariktaṃ tatkhinnaprakṛtipaurakam ,
sīmāntine tṛṇamiva rājyaṃ svamaraye dadau 5
5. atha sarvārthariktaṃ tat khinna-prakṛti-paurakam
sīmāntine tṛṇam iva rājyaṃ svam araye dadau
5. atha saḥ sarvārthariktaṃ khinna-prakṛti-paurakam
svam rājyaṃ tṛṇam iva sīmāntine araye dadau
5. Then he gave his own kingdom, which was now empty of all resources and had sorrowful subjects and citizens, to his enemy on the border as if it were a blade of grass.
