योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-6, chapter-65, verse-5

परात्प्रस्पन्दितात्मेति न भिक्षू राम केवलम् ।
मोहान्मोहान्तरं याति जीवोऽहरहरेव नः ॥ ५ ॥
parātpraspanditātmeti na bhikṣū rāma kevalam ,
mohānmohāntaraṃ yāti jīvo'harahareva naḥ 5
5. parāt praspanditātmā iti na bhikṣū rāma kevalam
| mohāt mohāntaram yāti jīvaḥ aharahaḥ eva naḥ ||
5. parāt praspanditātmā iti [bhavati] rāma,
[eṣaḥ] kevalam bhikṣū na naḥ jīvaḥ mohāt mohāntaram aharahaḥ eva yāti
5. That which is the self (ātman) manifesting from the Supreme — that is not merely a mendicant (bhikṣu), O Rāma. Our individual soul (jīva), indeed, goes from one delusion to another, day after day.
