योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-4, chapter-1, verse-24

बीजं भवेत्स्वयं दृश्यं चित्तादीन्द्रियगोचरम् ।
यवधानादिधान्यानि युक्तः पत्राङ्कुरोद्भवः ॥ २४ ॥
bījaṃ bhavetsvayaṃ dṛśyaṃ cittādīndriyagocaram ,
yavadhānādidhānyāni yuktaḥ patrāṅkurodbhavaḥ 24

24. bījam svayam dṛśyam cittādīndriyagocaram bhavet; yavadhānādidhānyāni patrāṅkurodbhavaḥ yuktaḥ (bhavati).
24. A seed should itself be visible and perceptible to the mind and other senses, just like barley, rice, and other grains that are associated with the emergence of leaves and sprouts.
