योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-75, verse-12

यया पूर्वं वियुक्तासि तन्वा जलदरूपया ।
बीजान्तवृक्षता पुत्रि बृहद्वृक्षतया यथा ॥ १२ ॥
yayā pūrvaṃ viyuktāsi tanvā jaladarūpayā ,
bījāntavṛkṣatā putri bṛhadvṛkṣatayā yathā 12
12. yayā pūrvam viyuktā asi tanvā jaladarūpayā
bījāntavṛkṣatā putri bṛhadvṛkṣatayā yathā
12. putri yathā bījāntavṛkṣatā bṛhadvṛkṣatayā,
[tathā] yayā jaladarūpayā tanvā pūrvam viyuktā asi
12. My daughter, just as the inherent tree-potential within a seed (blossoms) into a mighty tree, so too were you previously separated from a body that resembled a cloud.
