योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-1, chapter-13, verse-6

गुणागुणविचारेण विनैव किल पार्श्वगम् ।
राजप्रकृतिवन्मूढा दुरारूढाऽवलम्बते ॥ ६ ॥
guṇāguṇavicāreṇa vinaiva kila pārśvagam ,
rājaprakṛtivanmūḍhā durārūḍhā'valambate 6
6. guṇāguṇa-vicāreṇa vinā eva kila pārśvagam
rāja-prakṛti-vat mūḍhā durārūḍhā avalambate
6. Indeed, a foolish and obstinate person, without any consideration of good or bad qualities, clings to an associate, just like a royal disposition (prakṛti).
