वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-77, verse-10

ततो यज्ञसमाप्तौ तु ब्रह्महत्या महात्मनः ।
अभिगम्याब्रवीद्वाक्यं क्व मे स्थानं विधास्यथ ॥१०॥
10. tato yajñasamāptau tu brahmahatyā mahātmanaḥ ,
abhigamyābravīdvākyaṃ kva me sthānaṃ vidhāsyatha.

abhigamya abravīt vākyam kva me sthānam vidhāsyatha

10. Then, at the conclusion of the (Vedic ritual) yajña, the personified brahmin-killing (brahmahatyā) approached the great-souled (mahātman) one (Indra) and spoke these words: 'Where will you allot a place for me?'
