वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-72, verse-9

सर्वसत्त्वानि यानीह स्थावराणि चराणि च ।
महता पांसुवर्षेण नाशं यास्यन्ति सर्वशः ॥९॥
9. sarvasattvāni yānīha sthāvarāṇi carāṇi ca ,
mahatā pāṃsuvarṣeṇa nāśaṃ yāsyanti sarvaśaḥ.
9. sarva-sattvāni yāni iha sthāvarāṇi carāṇi ca
mahatā pāṃsu-varṣeṇa nāśam yāsyanti sarvaśaḥ
9. All living beings that are here, both stationary and moving, will utterly perish due to the great rain of dust (pāṃsu-varṣa).
