वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-69, verse-24

यज्ञभूम्यां तु विधिवत् पावकस्तेन रक्षसा ।
हूयमानः प्रजज्वाल होमशोणितभुक् तदा ॥२४॥
24. yajñabhūmyāṃ tu vidhivat pāvakastena rakṣasā ,
hūyamānaḥ prajajvāla homaśoṇitabhuk tadā.

24. Then, on the sacrificial ground (yajñabhūmi), the fire, into which oblations were being made by that demon according to the prescribed rites, blazed forth, consuming the blood from the fire ritual (homa).
