बालिशः खलु कामात्मा रामो दशरथात्मजः ।
इति वक्ष्यन्ति मां सन्तो जानकीमविशोध्य हि ॥१२॥

12. bāliśaḥ khalu kāmātmā rāmo daśarathātmajaḥ ,

For, if I do not purify Janaki (Sita), good people will indeed say of me, 'Rama, the son of Dasaratha, is foolish and driven by desire (kāmātmā).'
