वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-3, chapter-26, verse-5

प्रहृष्टो वा हते रामे जनस्थानं प्रयास्यसि ।
मयि वा निहते रामं संयुगायोपयास्यसि ॥५॥
5. prahṛṣṭo vā hate rāme janasthānaṃ prayāsyasi ,
mayi vā nihate rāmaṃ saṃyugāyopayāsyasi.

| mayi vā nihate rāmam saṃyugāya upayāsyasi
5. vā rāme hate,
[tvam] prahrṛṣṭaḥ janasthānam prayāsyasi vā mayi nihate,

5. Either, if Rāma is slain, you will joyfully return to Janasthāna, or, if I am slain, you will approach Rāma for battle.
