वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-3, chapter-26, verse-15

अष्टभिः सायकैः सूतं रथोपस्थे न्यपातयत् ।
रामश्चिच्छेद बाणेन ध्वजं चास्य समुच्छ्रितम् ॥१५॥
15. aṣṭabhiḥ sāyakaiḥ sūtaṃ rathopasthe nyapātayat ,
rāmaściccheda bāṇena dhvajaṃ cāsya samucchritam.
