वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-3, chapter-26, verse-20

तान् खरो द्रवतो दृष्ट्वा निवर्त्य रुषितः स्वयम् ।
राममेवाभिदुद्राव राहुश्चन्द्रमसं यथा ॥२०॥
20. tān kharo dravato dṛṣṭvā nivartya ruṣitaḥ svayam ,
rāmamevābhidudrāva rāhuścandramasaṃ yathā.

20. Seeing those (demons) fleeing, Khara, enraged, himself turned back and charged directly at Rama, just as Rahu attacks the moon.
