वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-84, verse-17

अहं तु तं नरव्याघ्रमुपयातः प्रसादकः ।
प्रतिनेतुमयोध्यां च पादौ तस्याभिवन्दितुम् ॥१७॥
17. ahaṃ tu taṃ naravyāghramupayātaḥ prasādakaḥ ,
pratinetumayodhyāṃ ca pādau tasyābhivanditum.
17. aham tu tam naravyāghram upayātaḥ prasādakaḥ
pratinetum ayodhyām ca pādau tasya abhivanditum
17. tu aham tam naravyāghram prasādakaḥ upayātaḥ,
ca ayodhyām pratinetum,
tasya pādau abhivanditum.
17. But I have come as an appeaser to that tiger among men (Rama), both to lead him back to Ayodhyā and to worship his feet.
