वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-84, verse-16

न चैतदिष्टं माता मे यदवोचन्मदन्तरे ।
नाहमेतेन तुष्टश्च न तद्वचनमाददे ॥१६॥
16. na caitadiṣṭaṃ mātā me yadavocanmadantare ,
nāhametena tuṣṭaśca na tadvacanamādade.
16. na ca etat iṣṭam mātā me yat avocan mat antare
na aham etena tuṣṭaḥ ca na tat vacanam ādadhe
16. me mātā yat mat antare avocan ca,
etat na iṣṭam.
aham etena ca na tuṣṭaḥ,
tat vacanam na ādadhe.
16. And this (action) that my mother spoke concerning me is not desired by me. I am not pleased by it, nor do I accept her words.
