वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-84, verse-15

हतो ऽस्मि यदि मामेवं भगवानपि मन्यते ।
मत्तो न दोषमाशङ्केर्नैवं मामनुशाधि हि ॥१५॥
15. hato'smi yadi māmevaṃ bhagavānapi manyate ,
matto na doṣamāśaṅkernaivaṃ māmanuśādhi hi.
15. hataḥ asmi yadi mām evam bhagavān api manyate
mattaḥ na doṣam āśaṅker na evam mām anuśādhi hi
15. yadi bhagavān api mām evam hataḥ asmi manyate,
mattaḥ doṣam na āśaṅker,
hi evam mām na anuśādhi.
15. If even your venerable self (Bhagavān) considers me thus condemned, then you should not suspect any fault from me. Indeed, do not instruct me in this manner.
