प्रसव्यं चापि तं चक्रुरृत्विजो ऽग्निचितं नृपम् ।
स्त्रियश्च शोकसंतप्ताः कौसल्या प्रमुखास्तदा ॥२०॥

20. prasavyaṃ cāpi taṃ cakrurṛtvijo'gnicitaṃ nṛpam ,
striyaśca śokasaṃtaptāḥ kausalyā pramukhāstadā.

20. Then, the priests also circumambulated that king, for whom the sacred fires had been prepared, in a counter-clockwise direction (prasavya). And at that time, the grief-stricken women, led by Kausalya and others, were also present.
