वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-70, verse-17

गन्धानुच्चावचांश्चान्यांस्तत्र दत्त्वाथ भूमिपम् ।
ततः संवेशयामासुश्चितामध्ये तमृत्विजः ॥१७॥
17. gandhānuccāvacāṃścānyāṃstatra dattvātha bhūmipam ,
tataḥ saṃveśayāmāsuścitāmadhye tamṛtvijaḥ.

bhūmipam tataḥ saṃveśayāmāsuḥ citāmadhye tam ṛtvijaḥ

17. Then, having placed various other fragrances on it, the priests thereupon laid the king in the middle of that pyre.
