वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-60, verse-6

न लुब्धो बुध्यते दोषान् किं पाकमिव भक्षयन् ।
कुब्जानिमित्तं कैकेय्या राघवाणान् कुलं हतम् ॥६॥
6. na lubdho budhyate doṣān kiṃ pākamiva bhakṣayan ,
kubjānimittaṃ kaikeyyā rāghavāṇān kulaṃ hatam.

6. A greedy person does not comprehend faults, just as one consuming a ripe fruit (pāka) fails to see its hidden defects. Due to Kubjā (Mantharā), Kaikeyi has destroyed the lineage of the Raghus.
