वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-1, chapter-73, verse-19

तं दृष्ट्वा भीमसंकाशं ज्वलन्तमिव पावकम् ।
वसिष्ठप्रमुखा विप्रा जपहोमपरायणाः ।
संगता मुनयः सर्वे संजजल्पुरथो मिथः ॥१९॥

vasiṣṭhapramukhā viprā japahomaparāyaṇāḥ ,
saṃgatā munayaḥ sarve saṃjajalpuratho mithaḥ.

19. Seeing him, formidable in appearance and blazing like fire, the Brahmins led by Vasiṣṭha, who were devoted to chanting (japa) and sacrificial offerings (homa), and all the assembled sages then conversed among themselves.
