वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-1, chapter-68, verse-13

तस्य तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा ऋषिमध्ये नराधिपः ।
वाक्यं वाक्यविदां श्रेष्ठः प्रत्युवाच महीपतिम् ॥१३॥
13. tasya tadvacanaṃ śrutvā ṛṣimadhye narādhipaḥ ,
vākyaṃ vākyavidāṃ śreṣṭhaḥ pratyuvāca mahīpatim.

13. Having heard his (Janaka's) words, the king (Daśaratha), who was the most eloquent, replied to the lord of the earth (Janaka) in the presence of the sages.
