In Ayodhya, there was no Brahmin (vipraḥ) who had not established the sacred fires, or who did not perform Vedic rituals (yajña), or who failed to give a thousand (in charity - dāna). Moreover, no one was found who caused a confusion of social orders (saṃkara).
