And (ca api) for the appeasement (śāntyartham) of those (tad) evil (duṣṭa) results (phala), also for those (nām) whose birth time (janma) is unknown (ajñāta), the current (vartamānā) planetary period (daśā) of the planets (nabhaḥsadām) should be understood (jñeyā) by means of the unfolding of results (phalapaktyā).
