बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-76, verse-18

तद्दुष्टफलशान्त्यर्थमपि चाज्ञातजन्मनाम् ।
फलपक्त्या दशा ज्ञेया वर्तमाना नभःसदाम् ॥१८॥
18. tadduṣṭaphalaśāntyarthamapi cājñātajanmanām .
phalapaktyā daśā jñeyā vartamānā nabhaḥsadām.
18. tad duṣṭaphalaśāntyartham api ca ajñātajanmanām
phalapaktyā daśā jñeyā vartamānā nabhaḥsadām
18. And (ca api) for the appeasement (śāntyartham) of those (tad) evil (duṣṭa) results (phala), also for those (nām) whose birth time (janma) is unknown (ajñāta), the current (vartamānā) planetary period (daśā) of the planets (nabhaḥsadām) should be understood (jñeyā) by means of the unfolding of results (phalapaktyā).
