मारकेशेन युग्दृष्टे धनहीनः प्रजायते ॥३॥

If the lord of the ascendant is situated in the sixth house, and the lord of the sixth house has entered the ascendant, and either of these lords is conjoined with or aspected by a death-inflicting planet (mārakeśa), then the person is born devoid of wealth.
