मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-64, verse-18

मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
एवमस्त्विति तामाह स तु कन्यां कलावतीम् ।
विभावर्याः कलावत्याः स्निग्धदृष्ट्यानुमोदितः ॥१८॥
18. mārkaṇḍeya uvāca .
evamastviti tāmāha sa tu kanyāṃ kalāvatīm .
vibhāvaryāḥ kalāvatyāḥ snigdhadṛṣṭyānumoditaḥ.
18. mārkaṇḍeyaḥ uvāca | evam astu iti tām āha saḥ tu kanyām
kalāvatīm | vibhāvaryāḥ kalāvatyāḥ snigdhadṛṣṭyā anumoditaḥ
18. Mārkaṇḍeya said: 'So be it!' he told that maiden, Kalāvatī. He was approved by the affectionate glance of Kalāvatī, the daughter of Vibhāvarī.
