इत्याह मां दक्षसुता सती सत्यपरायणा ।
स्वरोचिस्त्वं ध्रुवं देवी नान्यथा सा वदिष्यति ॥१६॥

16. ityāha māṃ dakṣasutā satī satyaparāyaṇā .

Thus spoke to me Satī, the daughter of Dakṣa and one devoted to truth: 'You are certainly Svarocis, O goddess; she (Satī) would not speak otherwise.'
