मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
एवं विमुक्तरोगा तु कन्यका तं मुदान्विता ।
स्वरोचिषमुवाचेदं शृणुष्व वचनं प्रभो ॥१॥

1. mārkaṇḍeya uvāca .
evaṃ vimuktarogā tu kanyakā taṃ mudānvitā .
svarociṣamuvācedaṃ śṛṇuṣva vacanaṃ prabho.

Mārkaṇḍeya said: "Thus, the maiden, freed from disease and filled with joy, said this to Svarocis: 'O Lord, please listen to my words!'"
